The Job
You will be part of a very competent, experienced, and dedicated team, where collaboration and teamwork are important ingredients in our agile way of working. The job is about understanding customer needs, designing, and creating machines, which support and complement our extrusion processes, creating great added value. We are working with new development as well as standard builds, from prototyping to fully automated machines and with external customers as well as our own factories across the globe.
You
We would like you to have a university degree in mechanical design engineering with solid knowledge of processes and engineering in general and experience with CAD tools. Preferably, you also have a few years of work experience in mechanical design and engineering from process industry.
To fit this role, you have a big technical interest, you are used to problem solving all the way from creative idea to finished product, and always eager to learn new things and technologies. In addition to evidently great team working skills, it is to your advantage to be driven and able to take the lead when needed, also in an international customer environment. Understanding what Lean working methods means in a manufacturing environment and Agile methodologies in development, is an advantage.
This job requires good English skills, both in speech and writing, since most of the communication is in English. Swedish skills are not a must have but could be to your advantage.
